Equibit Portfolio, Core and Supernode paired with IBM’s world-class cloud infrastructure
We have been working very closely with the IBM Cloud team for quite some time now to ensure we have the best possible infrastructure and available resources with the highest level of control and visibility into our data in time for our launch. Security and transparency continue to be our top priority and we are thrilled to announce Equibit Group has officially partnered with IBM Cloud to achieve just that.
The partnership will ensure Equibit Group has the capacity and resources to scale appropriately as needed, without any lag or hesitations. We are also able to ensure chain interoperability which is key with an open sourced network. Partnering with IBM allows for secure, reliable, scalable technology, while also providing peace of mind going forward.
Best in class
After much research and due diligence, Equibit Group selected the IBM Cloud to host our software development toolchain and environments as we found the IBM Cloud to offer superior features and a more developer-friendly interface than other cloud providers. IBM is the global leader in open enterprise cloud enabling secure data and infrastructure integration in the cloud. The partnership allows us to establish trust, accountability, and transparency while streamlining the Equibit processes.
Applications, Nodes and Web Wallets
Equibit Group’s suite of production applications, including our own nodes on the Equibit network, as well as our Equibit Portfolio web wallet, will be hosted and secured by IBM’s world-class cloud infrastructure. We are also engaged in a long-term relationship with IBM to design the upcoming Equibit Supernode product. The Equibit Supernode uses the most advanced hardware security module solutions to ensure the privacy and safety of the keys. The Equibit Supernode complies with the Federal Information Processing Standard 140-2.
